Finally, I can squirt milk!

So yesterday as I'm getting ready to get into the shower, I'm checking to see how engorged my boobs are. Recently, Ella has only been nursing on one side so the other side is left full-unless I pump it out. As I leaned my hand a certain way on my right boob, MILK SQUIRTED ACROSS THE BATHROOM!!! Mind you, it was more of a misty squirt than say a squirt gun but still.

Those of you that breastfed may not be impressed, especially those who had enough milk to feed a litter ( you know who you are-JC). But, I was totally impressed because I'd never been able to squirt before. It turns out my technique was wrong. Instead of squeezing the nipple, you need to put pressure above it. So I practiced my new party trick for a while and then realized that I was wasting valuable resources - and extra milk don't come easy to me!

When I told Buzz he reacted by saying, "Quit wasting all those nutrients and antibodies!"

Side note: When I looked for a picture to go with my post on google, I only found porn. I typed, "boobs squirting milk" or something. Oops.

I'm impressed. You must be so proud!! I actually did something like that by accident and couldn't stop the stream. It was spraying all over everything in the bathroom as I was running around like an idiot trying to find a bra and some pads. HA!

I thought I was the coolest when I did that one day. I think just telling Mike traumatized him for life.
Um, word to the wise, really be careful with the one side thing-
1.(Personal experience) you can get really bad infections that way- I got 2, one more strike and my doc told me I'd have to stop forever.
2. One side can dry up and then you will have an A cup and a D cup (my friend Carrie had that happen)
